KIERSTY DEGROOTE

Kiersty DeGroote is a strong litigator and a fierce advocate for her clients.  She brings a competitive spirit to her cases and fights vigorously to ensure her clients receive the best possible representation. Kiersty prides herself in the attention to detail she applies to her matters while prioritizing any questions or concerns of her clients.

Her practice focuses on complex matters related to personal injury, employment law, and general commercial disputes. She represents individuals and businesses at all stages of litigation to ensure her clients receive the best possible recovery whether that be through settlement, arbitration, or trial.

During her tenure at Bochetto & Lentz, Kiersty has developed a strong reputation both in the firm and the Philadelphia legal community for her skills in drafting motions, deposing key witnesses, and conducting settlement negotiations. Success in advocacy is nothing new to Kiersty; she was a nationally recognized competitor in Mock Trial, receiving All-American honors while attending Furman University.  Her success continued at Washington & Lee, where she won the annual Mock Trial competition before becoming chair of the competition during her third year.

Prior to joining Bochetto & Lentz, Kiersty clerked for the 23rd Judicial District of Virginia in Roanoke County.  Kiersty graduated cum laude from the Washington & Lee School of Law and served as Lead Article Editor on the Law Review.
