BRYAN LENTZ

A former paratrooper, prosecutor and a member of the State Legislature, Bryan has tried hundreds of cases to verdict.

Bryan’s practice areas include: Employment/Wrongful Discharge litigation, False Claims/ Whistleblower actions, complex commercial business litigation, Partnership Disputes, Intellectual Property Disputes, Restrictive Covenants, Trade Secret Claims, Trademark and Copyright Infringement Claims, Defamation and Medical Malpractice.

In 1986 Bryan was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry. He was ultimately assigned to the Second Battalion of the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C. after completing the Infantry Officers Basic Course and U.S. Army Ranger School. He completed 4 years of active service as an Airborne Ranger Infantry officer. His first job out of law school was at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office where served for six years developing a specialty in the prosecution of violent gangs and juveniles. While at the District Attorney’s office he began service as a Civil Affairs officer in the Army reserves. In 1998 his reserve unit was activated for service in Bosnia where Lentz served for 8 months as an Army Captain. He received the NATO Joint Service Commendation for his service in Bosnia. In 2003 he volunteered to return to the reserves in order to command a Civil Affairs unit in Iraq during the second year of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the city of Mosul. He was awarded the Bronze Star for Service for his time in Iraq. In 2006, Bryan was elected to represent the 161st Legislative District in the Pennsylvania General Assembly where he served two terms. From February of 2011 until October of 2013 Bryan was the Chief of the Philadelphia Regional Gun Violence Task Force. Under his leadership the Task Force investigated and prosecuted straw purchasers of firearms and implemented innovative gun violence reduction strategies like Gunstat and Focused Deterrence.
