 Mr. McGarvey joined Bochetto & Lentz in June, 2004 after completing a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Ralph A. Romano, Administrative Law Judge, United States Department of Labor. He currently practices in the areas of civil, criminal, and commercial litigation as well as administrative law. During his clerkship, he was a volunteer attorney with the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia.
Mr. McGarvey was admitted to the bars of the highest courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey in November, 2002. He was admitted to the bar of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in July, 2004 and the bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in January, 2005.
Mr. McGarvey received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Pennsylvania State University in May, 1999 where he graduated with high distinction and with honors in English. As an undergraduate, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In May, 2002, he earned his Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. While at Dickinson, he was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board, was Articles Editor for the Penn State Environmental Law Review, and served as a law clerk to the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. |
