 Ms. Desmarais joined Bochetto & Lentz as an associate in 2007. Her practice includes a wide variety of litigation matters, including civil fraud, defamation, breach of contract, employment disputes, business control disputes, professional negligence, and personal injury matters. Ms. Desmarais is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Ms. Desmarais is a volunteer lawyer for the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, through which she counsels area artists and arts-related businesses on a variety of legal issues on a pro bono and reduced-fee basis. In 2007, Ms. Desmarais was selected as a 2008 Pennsylvania Political Leaders Fellow by the Center for Progressive Leadership for her interest in political advocacy for the arts.
Prior to joining Bochetto & Lentz as an associate, Ms. Desmarais worked for Bochetto & Lentz as a paralegal and law clerk starting in 2003. She received her J.D. in 2007 from Temple University Beasely School of Law, where she was a staff member of the Temple Law Journal of Science, Technology, and Environmental Law. Ms. Desmarais received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History in 2002 from Skidmore College. |
